JOB SUMMARY

Provide excellent customer service and maximize sales by assisting in the daily operation of the store.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Acknowledge and greet customers as they enter the store or approach the cashwrap.
  • Follow all company policies, cash handling policies and special store loss prevention procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, fellow employees and store management.
  • Effectively operate a cash register.
  • Understand how to sell Lottery tickets, Mass Transportation tickets and Telephone Calling Cards.
  • Know basic store layout to assist customers in their selection of product and be able to answer customer questions about the entire store.
  • Be knowledgeable and familiar with the surrounding businesses/offerings within the facility.
  • Assist other store employees in maintaining security in stores.
  • Stock merchandise.
  • Inform management of any out of stock situations.
  • Help maintain a neat, clean, organized store, which includes sweeping, dusting, straightening of merchandise on store fixtures and displays.
  • Perform related work as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

  • Ability to interact with diverse personalities.
  • Proficiency in the operation of a cash register.
  • High degree of interpersonal skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior stockroom or warehouse experience preferred.

Crews (Newsstands)- Replenishment Associate

Description

Job Summary:  

Must be able to fulfill the company customer service standards by being friendly, available, and customer focused. Responsible for making sure that each store location is stocked with the proper amount of merchandise to maintain the Crews standards.   Must be able to demonstrate positive values of integrity, fairness, respect, teamwork, and maintain high standards.  Adhere to all company and airport policies and procedures.

 

Responsibilities Position Requirements:

  • Responsible for maintaining merchandise presentation guidelines and standards to include unpacking, folding, and displaying product. 
  • May assist in ordering merchandise and process paperwork and assist in inventories as needed.
  • Maintain a neat and organized appearance- following company dress code guidelines.
  • Help maintain a neat, clean, organized store, which includes sweeping, dusting, straightening of merchandise on store fixtures and displays.
  • Ensure stores are well stocked in accordance with sales demands and plannograms.
  • Coordinate and perform transfer of product between various locations as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers in order to provide the best customer service. 
  • May provide back up as a sales cashier; ability to effectively process all transactions through the POS system quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to work as a team member.
  • Assist with store housekeeping. Dusting cleaning and removal of the trash.
  • Maintain a neat and organized appearance- following company dress code guidelines.
  • Able to stand, walk, bend and lift up to 30 Lbs. 

 

Skills and Competencies:

  • Ability to pass the Background Investigation.
  • Ability to process information/merchandise through point of sale system.
  • Ability to communicate with associates and customers in a professional manner.
  • Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation.
  • Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job.
  • 1-2 years of retail cashier/and/or sales experience preferred.

 

Other Skills and Abilities:

Physical ability to stand for extended periods and to move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store, which entails lifting, and perform all functions as set forth above. Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and some holidays, as needed. May be required to work overtime.

Description

Purpose/Position Summary: 

Support the operation by serving as second in command in any kitchen. Ensures that the kitchen runs smoothly by assisting the line cooks when necessary.  Effectively coach and mentor kitchen staff.  Plan and direct the preparation of food in the kitchen.  Assist with the scheduling of personnel.  Fill-in for the executive chef, when needed.  

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assists and support the executive chef.

2. Assists the sales and marketing team.

3. Hires and train kitchen staff.

4. Oversees the preparation and service of food.

5. Assists in the planning and creation of menus and meals.

6. Offers guidance on the preparation, cooking and presentation of any food item in the restaurant.

7. Handles any problems that may arise in the kitchen. 

8. Ensures customers are served efficiently and effectively.

9. Manages the chef and kitchen staff.

 

Decision-Making Authority:

Position would normally be responsible for carrying out assigned responsibilities with minimal supervision. Issues that may require interpretation of policy or might have significant impact would be referred to the executive chef.

Chef Geoff's- Food Prep

Description

PURPOSE OF POSITION

Support the operation to deliver Superior Guest Service by performing duties which may include: preparing products within specifications by reducing bulk items to usable portions.  This may also include mixing ingredients, cutting and preparing fruits and vegetables; soups, salads and sandwiches; and/or meat for further use. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES    

1.Prepares all products in accordance with company standards which may include measuring and mixing ingredients, cutting and preparing fruits and vegetables; soups, salads and sandwiches; desserts, garnishes, and/or meat for further use.

2.Checks duties by reviewing daily pull and prep lists.

3.Stores food at proper temperature; labels, dates, and rotates all products in accordance with company standards.

4.Maintains food preparation area, cleans equipment and workstations immediately after use or as required.

5.Follows safe food handling and proper hygiene practices.

6.Adheres to workplace safety standards for operating and maintaining equipment and reports any equipment malfunction to management immediately. 

7.Performs opening and/or closing side works according to established checklists.

8.Performs other duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:
